To put it mildly, the historic Chulia Street in George Town, Malaysia’s Little India district is a night owl’s paradise. This part of the city is a well-known and well-visited budget tourist destination that has all kinds of businesses that stay open through the late night hours, ranging from laundromats to bars to restaurants to nightclubs.

Of course, Chulia Street’s hawker stall line-up that comes out every evening is famous all across Penang! These stalls have every kind of street food imaginable, and the wan tan mee dishes, curry mee dishes, and juice stalls found here are particularly famous.

The Chulia Street Night Hawker Stalls are open every night from 6 pm-midnight.
