Sarawak is one of two Malaysian states located on the island of Borneo. It is home to a number of different ethnic groups, including Malays, Indians, Chinese, Bidayuh, and Iban who have lived there for many hundreds of years. In the case of the Bidayuh and Iban people, many thousands of years.

Sarawak’s hawker centers are not only places where people can pick up a quick meal , but places where patrons can experience the culinary culture of Sarawak as well.
