One of the Indian state of Goa’s most famous night markets is the Saturday Night Market which, as you may have guessed, is held every Saturday night in the village of Arpora.
Established in 2001, this massive night market is a place where you can find a little bit of everything. Bollywood movie posters, Indian spices, antique musical instruments, handmade Indian jewelry, handmade hammocks and bags, chess sets, and religious statues and amulets are among some of the items available at this night market. And of course, there are plenty of food stalls where there are Indian foods of all kinds to choose from! Oh, and can’t forget the live entertainment where live performers perform rock music or traditional Indian music while you browse and eat!
The Saturday Night Market opens at 6 pm every Saturday evening and lasts well through the late night hours.
