The Luang Prabang Night Market aka Handicraft Night Market is one market that anyone, night market aficionados or just any tourists visiting Laos, will probably want to visit!

Having been one of the highlights of Luang Prabang since 2002 (at which time it was only supposed to be a special Christmas event for selling Hmong handicrafts), the Luang Prabang Night Market is the place to go to sample Laotian cuisine, buy Laotian handicrafts, or just buy a few essential items for your trip, such as personal accessories or clothes! In addition, many items related to the Buddhist religion such as statues, Buddha portraits, and amulets can be purchased at this night market.

The market opens everyday at 5 pm and closes sometime around 9-10 pm.
