Brinchang Night Market

The Cameron Highlands hill station area in Malaysia’s Pahang state is a major tourist destination famous for its natural scenery, tourist activities, and hotels. It’s also home to one of the area’s most popular night markets: The Brinchang Night Market.

Since it first opened, this night market has moved to several different locations across its hometown of Tanah Rata. At the time of this writing in early 2018, it is located on a site along Tanah Rata’s Jalan Sungai Ruil road.

Some of the many vendors to be found at Brinchang Night Market are flower and live plant vendors, strawberry (the “official fruit” of the Cameron Highlands) vendors, stalls selling Cameron Highlands and Malaysia souvenirs of all kinds, T-shirts, vegetables, and toys. Of course, no night market would be complete without some food vendors and there are plenty here selling cuisine from all across Malaysia! The corn and chicken stalls seem to be especially popular.

If you’re planning a trip to the Cameron Highlands, the Brinchang Night Market is a place you’ll want to add to your list of places to go!

The Brinchang Night Market is open every Friday and Saturday from 4-11 pm.
