Roxas Night Market

One of the highlights of Mindanao’s Davao City is the Roxas Night Market.

This night market is well-known for its bargains on second-hand clothing and purses (many of them authentic designer brands!), as well as the abundance of food stalls selling everything from fried chicken to barbecued chicken intestines to ice cream, which is a huge hit among locals!

In September of 2016, the Roxas Night Market was completely destroyed by a terrorist attack which killed 15 and wounded 67 people. Fortunately, the night market quickly recovered from this attack and reopened within a matter of days.

The Roxas Night Market is open every Tuesday-Sunday night from 6 pm-12 pm and closes from 12-6 pm. The market is closed from 12 am-12 pm on Mondays.
