Taiwan’s southwestern city of Chiayi is very famous for its cuisine, and the “turkey on rice” dish in particular. For the tourist who happens to be visiting Chiayi and wants to sample Chiayi’s famous food, there’s no better way to do it than to pay a trip to the night markets. And the most famous night market in the city is the Wenhua Road Night Market!

Located along the city’s Wenhua Road in the West District, the Wenhua Rd. Night Market is a sprawling night market that offers not only Chiayi foods, but the usual assortment of clothing, toys, household items, and much more!

Opening and closing times of the vendors located at the market vary, but in general food and clothing vendors at the Wenhua Rd. Night Market can be found throughout all hours of the day and night.
