Taiwan’s southern city of Tainan has much to offer in the way of night markets and the most famous of all in Tainan is the Tainan Flower Night Market!

Opening in 1999, the Tainan Flower Night Market is relatively new compared to other night markets in the city and surrounding areas, but it is without a doubt the largest. The most famous offering at this huge night market is the huge abundance of food stalls! Not only are the usual Chinese and Taiwanese foods found here, but foods from all over the globe including Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indian and Western foods among others! Also at the Tainan Flower Night Market are games of all kinds, grocery stalls, household items, clothing, and much, much more.

As of 2017, Tainan Flower Night Market is said to be Taiwan’s largest night market.

The Tainan Flower Night Market is open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from around 6 pm to 11:30 pm.
