Xiaobei Night Market

Xiaobei Night Market has been a part of the city of Tainan, Taiwan since 1984, making it the city’s oldest continuous night market.

Unlike other night markets in the city, this one is an indoor night market located in a department store-type building. This market is famous for the abundance of food stalls and for the stalls selling Taiwanese eel noodles and coffin bread, a local Tainan delicacy.

Xiaobei is located within walking distance from Tainan Park, literally making it a must-see spot for anyone touring Tainan!

Xiaobei Night Market is, according to TravelKing (archived), open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4 pm-2 am.
