Nanjichang Night Market

Another of the smaller night markets to serve the people of Taipei is the Nanjichang Night Market.

Located near the site of a former Japanese colonial-era military airport, the Nanjichang Night Market has served the people of the surrounding Wanhua district since the population started growing immediately after the airport’s closure following the end of World War II. It is particuarly famous for its cuisine and its stalls serving mouth-watering foods such as stinky tofu, fried chicken, and dumplings in particular.

The Nanjichang Night Market is open everyday from 5:00 pm to midnight.
