Zhongli Xinming Night Market

A view of the Zhongli Night Market in Taoyuan, Taiwan from an overpass circa 2017.

Taoyuan City, Taiwan’s Zhongli Night Market is famous all across Taiwan for its pleasant atmosphere, abundance of food vendors, and vendors selling everything else imaginable!

Among the foods you can find here are stinky tofu offerings, fried squid, snake soup, and meat buns. Apart from the food stalls are the usual line-up of clothing, shoe, and fashion accessory vendors, some underwear vendors, electronic gadget vendors, and vendors selling pet supplies. Or if you’re in need of a furry (or maybe a thumb-sized or reptilian) friend, there are also vendors selling pets!

The Zhongli Night Market is open every evening from 5 pm to 1 am.
