The title of the largest night market in Thailand has long been held by Bangkok’s Chatuchak Weekend Market.

Chatuchak Weekend Market, or JJ Market as it’s also known, is  a huge night market that has been around since 1942. It is located on a roomy 35 acre lot and is also home to a clock tower that’s a Bangkok landmark in itself!

Since 1983, the market has been the official night market of Bangkok’s Chatuchak district. The market is famous for its wide abundance of plants for sale, as well as knick knacks and handicrafts. In addition, one can expect to find food stuffs, vegetables, furniture, antiques, pets, books, and the usual assortment of clothes, women’s fashion accessories, and household items.

The Chatuchak Weekend Market is held, as you may have guessed, on the weeekends until 1:30 am.
