One thing that attracts many visitors to Thailand every year is the abundance of cheap clothing and jewelry and for tourists passing through or near the city of Nakhon Ratchasima, or Khorat as it’s known by many locals. One of the top places to go to scoop up some deals on clothes is the Night Bazaar Korat (aka Manat Road Night Bazaar)!
This night bazaar, located in downtown Nakhon Ratchasima, is very popular among young people who live in the town and attracts a lively crowd every night! There are dozens, if not hundreds of clothing stalls as well as other types of stalls to be found here, such as CD/DVD shops and stalls selling some very unusual Isaan Thai (northern Thai) delicacies such as crickets, scorpions, and fried grasshoppers! In addition, there are one or two restaurants and bars located right at the entrance of the bazaar that can be a huge convenience for the hungry shopper!
Night Bazaar Korat is open every evening from around 5-10 pm.
