The city of Hat Yai, Thailand lies very close to the Thai-Malaysian border and sees many thousands of tourists from across southeast Asia and beyond enter its limits everyday, which makes it a very attractive location for a night market.
One of Hat Yai’s newest and most popular night markets is the Asean Night Bazaar. This bazaar, which opened in 2014 or so, is a two story shopping mall-type night market. The first floor is a long row of nothing but clothing and merchandise shops. Many of these shops sell clothing and (largely) women’s merchandise. The second floor is essentially a giant food court with Thai, Malay, and international restaurants.
The Asean Night Bazaar is open everyday from 3-10:30 pm.
